Thonburi Neustern Co Ltd, the official distributor of Geely electric vehicles in Thailand, has announced that CEO Narong Sitalayon has decided to resign from the company effective May 31, 2026.

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Narong played a key role in driving Thonburi Group’s business towards the transition to electric vehicles and the launch of various Geely electric vehicle models in Thailand.

During his management, the Geely received positive market response, reflecting strong confidence of customers and dealer network.

The Thonburi Group will announce the appointment of the new CEO at a later date. Meanwhile, Kulachart Chutichaokul, General Manager of Sales and Dealer Network Development, has been appointed to serve as Acting CEO.

Mr. Kulachart has been with the company from setup, and has played an important role in developing the Geely brand in Thailand. His responsibilities include dealer network expansion, sales strategy and attractive pricing. This has allowed Geely to be highly competitive while gaining stronger acceptance in the Thai car market.
