Mercedes-Benz has introduced the locally-assembled 2018 C-Class with prices ranging from Bt2.349 million for the C 220 d Avantgarde, Bt2.69 million for the C 220 d Exclusive and Bt2.89 million for the C 220 d AMG Dynamic.
Frank Steinacher, vice president for sales and marketing of Mercedes-Benz Thailand Ltd, said more than 415,000 units of the C-Class were sold worldwide last year, making it the brand’s top-selling model in terms of volume.
“Inside and out, this local production of the new C-Class being presented today is a result of our design overhaul especially front-end design, headlamps, and tail lamps. We also further uplift the vehicle’s proactive safety by enhancing its electrical system, ensuring assistance systems on board this edition of the C-Class are as equally efficient as those on the S-Class. Furthermore, the 2018 C-Class also supports semi-autonomous driving features in certain scenarios” he said.
The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel turbo engine develops 194 horsepower and 400Nm of torque.
